WILBER ADAMS

A native of Sacramento and a former athlete at Sacramento High School and Stanford University, Wilber Adams was a member of the sports staff of The Sacramento Bee for 18 years prior to 1946. In addition to covering baseball, Adams conducted a column called "Between the Lines." He was one of Sacramento's official scorers and covered the Solons for 10 years prior to 1946.
